About International Eventing Trainer Shaun Mandy

Accomplished Dressage Rider, British Dressage UK CC Level 3 Coach, and Youth Assessor

My profound love and dedication lie with horses. I specialize in training both horses and riders with kindness and fairness, guiding them to reach their utmost potential.

I’ve had the honor of working with and learning from esteemed equestrian Olympians such as Pippa Funnell, Jane Holderness-Roddam, and Jennie Lorriston-Clarke. During a transformative two-year experience in Denmark, I rode up to 10 horses daily, ranging from young prospects to Grand Prix level, under the mentorship of Hasse Hoffmann, the author of “Dressage with Heart & Mind.”

Upon my return to the UK, I successfully trained my young horse to Grand Prix over a span of 5 years, honing my skills under the guidance of the master himself, Carl Hester.

With over 20 years of coaching experience, catering to riders of diverse backgrounds from beginners to Olympians, I consistently strive to expand my knowledge. Over the past year, I’ve been based in Uruguay, where I’ve successfully trained two riders selected for the Pan American Games. I’ve also conducted impactful dressage clinics in Argentina and am driven to broaden my influence further.

My ultimate goal is to share the wealth of knowledge and skills I’ve acquired to assist you on your own riding journey.
