Werner Geven

Werner Geven, an internationally acclaimed trainer and competitor in eventing, show jumping, and dressage, holds Riding and Instructor Certifications from both the British Horse Society and the Dutch Horse Federation.

Werner's expertise extends to importing, training, and competing numerous young horses, elevating them to international levels across eventing, show jumping, and dressage. His notable achievements include participating in the World Equestrian Games in Achen, Germany, multiple appearances at the Rolex Kentucky eventing competitions (now called The Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event), the World Championships in Lanakan, Belgium for show jumping, and competing up to Grand Prix in dressage. He has proudly earned Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medals from the United States Dressage Federation.

As a coach, Werner has guided many riders from their beginnings, starting as novice children and progressing to successful international and Young Riders competitions. Services offered at Oak Branch Farm under Werner's guidance include individual and group lessons, monthly training, and coaching at shows.

Marjolein Geven

Marjolein Geven, also a versatile equestrian, has competed in dressage, show jumping, and eventing, with her current focus predominantly on dressage. She has taken on the challenge of training unbroken young horses, guiding them to excel at the FEI levels. Marjolein stands out as one of the few riders to achieve both the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medals and the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Freestyle Bar Medals from the United States Dressage Federation. Her accomplishments include numerous Championships at the GDCTA and Region 3 Championships, along with consistent top-20 placements nationally.
