About Thoroughbred Mare Rathvilly

Introducing Rathvilly, affectionately known to us as "Millie," a 16.2-hand JC registered Thoroughbred mare graciously contributed to our breeding program by Hartwell Farm in Lexington, Kentucky. Descending from a Royal Academy mare and a Gone West Stallion, Rathvilly boasts a robust build, solid structure, sound health, and a pedigree tailored for sport. Millie had a successful stint in the Thoroughbred industry, with multiple yearlings finding new homes at the Keenland Fall yearling sale, before transitioning into her role as a sport horse mama. Her first foal for us was a premium ATA filly, securing a home in Canada as a weanling. Millie is American Trakehner Association approved, and her foal will be registered, microchipped, and come to you as a weanling with up-to-date vaccines and basic ground manners (loading, leading, standing for the farrier). Board is inclusive through weaning, and flexible payment plans are accepted.

On the sire side, meet Kallisti (St.Pr. Klara/E.H. Rheinklang), a 2019 Trakehner imported from Germany in 2023. At four years old, he stands a sturdy 17 hands, embodying a gentlemanly disposition, floating gaits, and an impressive work ethic. Kallisti is currently embarking on his under-saddle career with a youth rider. His rhythmic canter, floating trot, ground-covering walk, and eagerness to learn are all qualities we anticipate passing on to his offspring.
